ABOUT

OPIUMDENPLUTO was founded in 2000 by puppy38, a designer, musician and audio/video producer from Austin, Texas.
His first commissioned design work was a logo for a local band, at the age of 13. Since then, he has worked as a freelancer, and under the employ of various companies in the United States and Austria, on projects ranging from graphic design, book/magazine layout and design, professional audio/video production and editing, and web design.

In 1997, having previously played in other bands and worked as a DJ, puppy38 began producing music under the moniker Hiroshimabend, and continues to this day.

In 2018, he received the album packaging design award at the independent music awards for ODP 048 - "Rednow Gnir" by Hiroshimabend.

Puppy38 has lived in Vienna, Austria since 2013 with his partner, painter/artist Katja Svejkovsky.
